:LAYOUT: Adding a little color...

The Winter 2008 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today was released yesterday.

I was excited for this issue because I was lucky enough to have another layout featured in this issue! So thrilled about that because this little Canadian magazine is closing in on my favorite scrapbooking magazine. They have such a talented Design Team and always have such useful and interesting articles in ever issue...

...and of course some great eye candy as well.

The layout of mine that was featured in this issue is called "Adding a little color" and is on page 37.

You can download and view the entire issue online here. How sweet is that! Be sure to check it out...I'm sure you'll find plenty of great ideas.

Comments & Techniques:
I like the sense of playfulness that tilting the photos adds to this layout. The white circles create a visual triangle. The white rub ons create a second visual triangle and they also tie in with the flourish design of the background paper.
