:QUOTES: on SNOW according to Barron, Turnbull, & Unknown

Remember when I posted a layout last week about our 2009 Christmas blizzard and commented that, thankfully, we hadn't seen nearly as much snow this year?

Well, I think I jinked it.

It started snowing this past weekend during the night on Saturday/Sunday and kept snowing on and off through Monday...with a good 8-10 inches accumlated on top of what we already had! Ugh!

If we had a snowblower, I might not mind so much, but seeing that we don't...all I can say is that shoveling sucks!

So, to try to focus on the positive, here's a few beautiful quotes about snow (well, the Barron one just references snow...but it's beautiful just the same).

T.A. BARRON (1952-; writer):
“Every piece of the universe, even the tiniest little snow crystal, matters somehow. I have a place in the pattern, and so do you.”

AGNES SLIGH TURNBULL:
“There is still vitality under the winter snow, even though to the casual eye it seems to be dead.”

UNKNOWN:
“Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look at what they can do when they stick together.”

READER RESPONSE:
Vote for your favorite quote and I'll create a word art freebie with the 'winning' quote to share with you sometime next week. In the meantime, check out my other word art downloads.
