hi Jill, I think the sepia tone pics are amazing. I quite liked them. I have a canon s3IS as well. But my sepia tone pics come out real dark. any tips to rectify?
@sudha ~ Did you switch your camera to sepia mode or did you do it in your post-processing? I ALWAYS take my photos in color and do any conversions in post-processing if I decide that B&W or sepia will do the photo more justice. I actually converted this photo in Picasa using their sepia effect, but that, too, is generally too light for my taste. So, I generally will then increase the shadows slightly to darken it slightly.
