Summer has gone WAY too fast for my taste. Personally, I think it's silly that school starts SO early...what happened to the days of school starting after Labor Day??
However, Kaitlin is so excited about 3rd grade and going back to school, so in honor of her enthusiasm, here's a few quotes about learning.
CLAY P. BEDFORD:
“You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.”
CLAUDE BERNARD (1813-1878; French physiologist):
“We can learn nothing except by going from the known to the unknown.”
MAHATMA GANDHI:
“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
