Scrapbooking the Everyday is the newest eBook edition from Ella Publishing and is authored by Elizabeth Dillow and Tina Cockburn.
Scrapbooking the everyday is something that I really struggle with from time to time. Sometimes it is about having the time to scrap the 'little' things when there are so may big events and moments yet to be scrapped. Sometimes it is about knowing which 'little' things will mean the most to me/us down the road.
Therefore, I was eager to delve into this Ella eBook for some inspiration from two very well-respected scrap artists.
I loved what they had to say in the introduction about capturing the everyday in our scrapbooks:
"It seems that the very act of photographing ordinary moments, of honoring them on film, tends to elevate them almost instantly. In essence, you're saying that this experience, this moment, this life are all worth remembering."
Then, they get to the good stuff!
For the rest of the eBook, Elizabeth and Tina offer up twelve amazing challenges to get your creative juices flowing.
Then, each artist offers up their own interpretation of the challenge by sharing a layout of their own.
My two favorite prompts in the eBook are "Reveal your inner monologue" and "Photograph your life as a rainbow."
