:REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Creative Ideas for Events & Holidays from Ella Publishing [CONTEST CLOSED]

Here's Ella's first eBook edition for 2011 - Creative Ideas for Events & Holidays.

This eBook is co-authored by Margaret Scarbrough and Sara Winnick, both well known scrapbookers that have been on the scene for over 5 years.

Events and holidays can become challenging for many scrapbookers who end up with similar photos each year.

After a while, even the most creative scrapbooker can find themselves at a loss for how to scrap these important memories without their projects all looking and sounding the same.

In this 28 page eBook, these two veteran scrapbookers offer 12 challenges from a variety of areas such as design, journaling, photography and more and shows us how to adapt them for a fresh and unique take on our event and holiday layouts.

With each challenge, each of the authors shares one of their own layouts to further illustrate the technique behind the challenge.

GIVEAWAY:
I have a free download of Creative Ideas for Events & Holidays to give away to a lucky reader.

For me, the hardest are birthdays.
I've never scrapped Christmas. I too busy celebrating to take pictures so there just aren't many photos to work with.

I'm stuck on Christmas...I need a fresh perspective for this holiday. I want to mix it up and I'm finding it hard to do that!
I would have to say the hardest holiday would be New Years.
Thanks for the chance to win.
The hardest is Christmas since all the pictures seem to be the same.

Yes, I have trouble with holidays. Christmas is probably the main one because I have so many from each Christmas.

I am bad about skipping birthday and Christmas because everything always looks the same,
4th of July is definately the hardest for me to scrap now.
When I first started scrapbooking events were the focus of the majority of all my pages but now I find them really difficult. I scrapbook Birthday photos on non-themed pages & except from my Christmas journal I struggle with Christmas photos too, still got all of 2009 & 2010 to create layouts with!
We go camping at the same spot every summer and I think I've photographed every inch of the area...so I do find myself taking very few pictures while there anymore.

I haven't yet skipped scrapping a particular event...but there are times that I dread it and put it off!
I find scrapping events and holidays a tad overwhelming sometimes. There are so many pictures, and too many thoughts... lol...
I don't scrap many of the events or holidays any more because I get bored with them. Halloween is the hardest to scrap.
I haven't skipped yet, but I was sorely tempted to skip scrapping Christmas 2010! I knew the pages would look similar to last year, and it made me put it off until a week ago!
I find Christmas to be the hardest
holidays in summer we spent on the same place every year - that is hard to scrap differently!
I think Christmas is a challenge for me. I always take lots of photos, but would love a fresh perspective on how to present these photos.
I can do birthdays, Christmas and Halloween with no prob. It's all those others in between that I don't seem to be able to find motivation to do-4th of July, Easter, etc. Some new perspective will be nice.
Christmas are the hardest for me.
I love to scrapbook my kids, but birthdays for me have become a bit to boring! thank goodness for all the fun new stuff comming out of CHA this year! I can not wait to get my hands on some of that!
Oh dear - yes. Thanksgiving is the troubled date for me. They all look the same. Same people, same food, same decorations. I need this book badly! Thank you for the chance to win it.
Teaching is the most important factor as it is the teacher who plays his role in the child’s skill development, encourages him, give him a authentic way to think and most importantly responsible for the character development.
