:FIFTEEN ON THE FIFTEENTH: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

With the extreme abundance of Christmas-themed scrapbooking products out there, I thought I do something a little different with this month's Fifteen on the Fifteenth.

Basically, each item highlights a different thing associated with Christmas!

ELVES
Three Bugs In a Rug - Snow Much Fun Collection - 12 x 12 Double Sided Paper - Santa's Elves
Any kid would tell you that Santa's little helpers are a pretty important part of Christmas. Who else is going to make sure that all those toys get done in time for Santa's worldwide ride?

PRESENTS
Three Bugs In a Rug - North Pole Collection - 12 x 12 Double Sided Paper - Gifts Galore
Speaking of toys, I think a few of these brightly-wrapped boxes might be sporting a toy or two.

POINSETTIAS
BasicGrey - Jovial Collection - Doilies - 12 x 12 Die Cut Paper - Poinsettia Bouquet
This die-cut paper from Basic Grey is as delicate and beautiful as the real holiday plants!

ORNAMENTS
Bo Bunny Press - Noel Collection - Christmas - 12 x 12 Double Sided Paper - Noel Ornaments
A Christmas tree wouldn't be complete without some beautiful ornaments to dress it up. This paper from Bo Bunny features my favorite ornament colors.

SNOW
Echo Park - Wintertime Collection - 12 x 12 Double Sided Paper - Blizzard
As much as I might complain about the white stuff, Christmas just wouldn't be the same without a least a little bit of it.

CHRISTMAS TREES
Echo Park - Everybody Loves Christmas Collection - 12 x 12 Double Sided Paper - Trim the Tree
These retro Christmas trees are colorful and fresh.

GINGERBREAD
EK Success - Paper Shapers - Slim Profile - Large Punch - Gingerbread Man
With this little punch, you can create your own personalized gingerbread man (or woman)!

STOCKINGS (& CANDY CANES)
Inkadinkado - Holiday Collection - Christmas - Wood Mounted Stamps - Candy Cane Stocking
Okay...you've got a two-for-one on this one. Stocking and candy canes are both Christmastime traditions.

NATIVITY
K and Company - Tim Coffey - Adhesive Chipboard with Glitter Accents - Nativity
My mom has been giving me the Willow Tree nativity piece by piece over the past few years and I've been meaning to do a layout about this special and beautiful gift. A few of these chipboard elements would be just the right added touch!

HOLLY
Making Memories - Glitter Bling Collection - Self Adhesive Icon - Holly
Glitter and gems...what more can you ask for in your holly?

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS
Martha Stewart Crafts - Christmas - Double Edge Punch - Holiday Lights
Create a string in every color your heart desires!

STAR
Maya Road - Trinket Pins Collection - Crystal Star
Here's the perfect topper to your paper Christmas tree.

SANTA
My Mind's Eye - Holly Jolly Collection - Christmas - 12 x 12 Double Sided Paper - Old St. Nick
Of course this list wouldn't be complete without a reference to the big, jolly guy himself!

COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS
Teresa Collins - Noel Collection - Christmas - 12 x 12 Double Sided Paper - Countdown
I love papers that have the numbers 1-25. They work wonderfully for creating advent-related projects.

CHRISTMAS CAROLS
The Girls Paperie - Tinsel and Twig Collection - Christmas - 12 x 12 Double Sided Paper - Christmas Carol Stripe
Music is a very important part of the holiday season for me. I simply can't put up the Christmas tree without it and love to listen to it all season long.

Once I started collecting items for this post, Nancy, I was a bit surprised at the lack of religious Christmas items that I could find. Not sure what that says about what this holiday has become for many. However, this little chipboard nativity is so darling, it almost makes up for it, wouldn't you say?
The nativity is great - there is not much out there for religious, there was a line by Flair called Amazing Grace that I have a few of, and the a com pany called Be Blessed that I sold last year , they have both closed ,
I have collected some Jenni Bolin, Girls paperie, Bo bunny and my favorite G45 for my stash , some cute lil milk bottle caps from a place called shabby chic and a lil vintage kit with some tinsel-- I know I won't be scrapping these pictures for a bit , but kinda planning what I want to do already ...
I am closing my Lss store so life a little hectic for next few weeks but then I am going to do a page a day!

Hi, Kathy...I will have to check out the Flair collection that you mentioned. I don't know that I have seen this one. I am sorry to hear that you are closing your store...there are not enough LSS out there anymore! The bright side is that you may have more time to scrap! :)
Love the Tinsel & Twig collection! Think my favorite Christmas icon has to be holly.
