Then, look what I found on the CK Blog the other day!
It's was so fun to find my layout featured there as well!I had a lot of journaling that I wanted to include on this layout so decided to print it on half of a die cut sheet of paper, leaving room to include the title as well.
I included color as well as black and white photos as they both support the moody theme.
The bracket on the right frames the page and keeps the eyes directed to the photos.

Journaling:Not long after Halloween last year that you informed me with a great deal of conviction that you wanted to be a vampira for Halloween this year.
I didn’t pay much attention at the time, but you held fast to you plan and when Halloween drew near this year, we got serious about finding you just the right costume.
It took awhile, but when we found this particular costume online, we both knew that it was the one! It was a little more than I should have spent on a costume at the time, but, hey, you’ll only a kid once, right? Plus, I must admit that I love to live vicariously through you every now and then. I never had such fancy costumes when I was a kid. It was a bummer that I forgot to put the choker that went with it on you the day we took these pics, but you still looked great!
Also, I do know how much you LOVE getting into character. It only takes one quick glance at these pictures to see that! No giggles or sweet smiles in these shots, that’s for sure. Only straight faces and eerie eyes for this convincing vampira! You look like you stepped straight out of the pages of Twilight! Eat your heart out, Edward!
Don’t worry, though. There’s no blood in that spider goblet…only a little Coca-Cola for effect!
