EMBELLISHMENTS: Often the adding of embellishments can be the most time-consuming part of scrapping, but these 9 layouts show that embellishing doesn't have to be tedious.

ONLY 5 PRODUCTS: Sometimes the best way to speed things up in the craft room, is to limit your choices. These 9 layouts show that you can still create a stunning layout with limited supplies.

SIMPLE THINGS: Includes 7 layouts that showcase simple techniques that can add serious pizazz.

If you tally that all up, that's EIGHTY-ONE amazing projects to inspire some speedy, yet sensational, crafting!!

I don't scrapbook as much, but I love to make cards. As we do this as a ministry for our church, it's so helpful to cut in bulk and then all you have to do is assemble. Saves lots of time.
My quickest tip is to scaplift a layout
I think that journaling by hand usually saves me time.

I'm a digital scrapper and my quickest tip is to use templates as my jumping off point for a layout.
My favorite time saving tip is to use sketches! There are so many fabulous sketch artists out there - so there's no point in me sitting at my desk, staring at my photo's and supplies when some one has already come up with a fantabulous idea for me to use!
Prep work!! I keep all of my photos with my emellies so I know what colors work with what photo...then I can just grab adn go and them pull out the paper that matches it and voila!!
I like using sketches when my mind goes blank1

I like to check magazines and other blogs to get the inspiration flowing - normally I can get an idea from others creativity when the mind in going blank.
I have two time saving techniques: sketches and lifting! This book looks really useful! Thanks for the chance!
I keep a focus on the photo and usually scrap one very large one with a couple supporting-the-story photos. Makes things consistent which saves me time :)
my time saving technique is to just keep it simple and focus on the photo using "white space" and just an embellishment or 2 :)
I have a folder of ideas that I refer to when I get stuck on a page or my mind goes completely blank!

I keep a little notebook with me for ideas and before I get ready to scrap I gather all the photos, paper, embellishments, etc. into a folder for each layout.
My 2 time-saving tricks are organization and loyalty.

Huh?

My organization is something I've been developing out of pure need since I'm rather messy (well, I look messy to others, I always know where to find even the tiniest of my treasures!). But, when I'm creating, if I organize my project (--This is the sketch I want o use--This photos will look better with blue and yellow papers--Those zoo skickers are the perfect ones for this page--) BEFORE making the first cut, I end up saving time.

I have also learned to stay loyal to my personal style. Even when there are moments when I have the time and the will -- even the craving -- to experiment with new styles, I usually save time, and end up more satisfied with the final result, if I stick to my minimalist-linear-graphic-historian style.

That's it... for me!
I tend to look through sketches, idea books and magazines to get my ideas! If I didnt do that it would take me forever to get started! I also find myself keeping thing simple. I do not go into much detail which helps me save time!

I find if I pick out pictures and paper and everything I plan to use for a page and put them together in a clear folder and make up multiple ones when I have the time to scrapbook I can get more pages done at once.
That book looks great!! Thanks for the review
Using sketches saves me a lot of time, along with using papers witin the same collection line (something I never used to purchase). When you don't have a lot of time to scrap, every minute counts! This looks like a fabulous book!
I put the photos I want to use for a layout in a page protector and put it in the appropriate album so when I have time to scrap the photos are all set to go in chronological order.
I'm a wanna scrapbooker so don't think I haven't tips (yet). I'd love to get started with you.
My favorite time saving technique for scrapbooking is how I organize my projects. After an event I put all of the stuff in one file - pictures, postcards, brouchures, etc, anything from that event. That way when I'm ready to scrap the event I'm not looking all over for my stuff, it's all in one convenient place :)
I am not sure about time-saving or not, but organization seems to be the key to my scrapbooking. If all is organized, everything goes a lot smoother. Thanks for the chance to win!
I just went through all of my digital files and organized by color, type of embellishments, letters, numbers, etc. It took me a long time to organize, but it makes finding them so much easier which makes the whole process faster :)

I also like to scraplift and use sketches. Thanks for the chance to win this great prize.
Instead of using expensive die cuts, I find a paper where I can cut out simple or delicate designs and then match to coordinating paper or solid. I have never been disappointed.

I'm a beginner so I don't really any great tips yet, but I'm learning :) One tip I do know for sure is being organized saves me alot of time. After I make a card or something my scrap area is such a wreck I have to reorganize right away or I lose everything and can't find it the next time. Design Studio for cricut or any layout helped me a great deal with a click I could move things around on page instead of my table where you lose alot when kids are around.
