:REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Stretch Your Sketches from Ella Publishing (CONTEST CLOSED)

Personally, there are two Becky's that made me fall in love with using sketches - Becky Higgins and Becky Fleck - and I'm sure I'm not the only one that uses sketches as a valuable tool in their scrapbooking.

While I don't start every layout with a sketch, they have helped me out in more than a few cases of scrapper's block.

However, there could be no more worthy author of Ella Publishing's newest eBook offering - Stretch Your Sketches. Author Donna Jannuzzi states in her introduction, "I start every single layout with a sketch."

In the book, she offers seven sketches starting at one photo and working the way up to a seven-photo layout. Each of these sketches includes three layout examples. The first one always follows the sketch exactly while the other two (one 12 x 12 and one 8 1/2 x 11) examples show how to 'stretch the sketch'. In all, there are 14 variations to give you ideas for how to start with a sketch, but end up with a layout that is uniquely your own.

At the end of the eBook, there is a 'Sketch Gallery' that includes two more variations of each of the seven sketches AND a 'Bonus Sketch' section that includes 18 of the authors favorite sketches. So there are actually THIRTY-NINE sketches included in this great eBook!

If you are a lover of sketches, this eBook is a must-have for your inspiration library.

Contributors for this book include Jodie McNally, Monica McNeill, Barb Wong, Tami Morrison, Lisa Kisch, Linda Barber, Noel Culbertson, Pam Young, Margie Scarpignato, Katie Scott, and Kathy Thompson Laffoley.

I'd have to go with 51-75%. LOVE sketches! :)
0-25%--rarely use a sketch

Lately it has been 26% - 50%.
0-25% I've only just begun to use sketches. It certainly cuts down the "scrapper's block" :)
75-100% yup, this book would be great for me!
I'd say 26-50% start with a sketch!
0-25% would be the answer for me. I would like to make could use of these ladies talents to enhance my scrapbooking. Thanks!!
75%-100%. I feel lost without a sketch. I find that I feel overwhelmed on where to start but a sketch makes it easier to get started and get all of those memories on a page.
Can I say 10-30%? I am starting to use them much more especially when designing digital pages.

0-25 % but I know this will help! lol
Before I had my son it was 0%. Now that he is a toddler, he is slowly giving up naptime...and is on high speed ALL the time...yep it went up to 75-100%

I am lucky I have time to put the layout together let alone completely come up with the layout on my own LOL.
I'd say probably 26-50%. I'm tying to use more printed paper so I am starting to use sketches more.
0-25% in starting with a sketch but usually end up with one before finishing and find them helpful.
0-25% but I just started scrapbooking again after a long break, we were moving overseas!, so I haven't got to do much of it anyway.
Probably 26-50 percent. I will at least use it as a starting place for creativity!
I'm in the 0-25% range for sure. I don't actually "sketch" my layouts, but I do move the pictures around on my paper and "visualize" letters and such... I think I've sketched two layouts in 3 years, lol. I find that I spend too much time perfecting the sketch instead of the layout, and layouts aren't supposed to be perfect!
I would guess 0-25% overall, but there are times when I am stuck creatively and then I will use sketch for several layouts in a row and it really gets the juices flowing again! I rarely copy a sketch exactly, but it does give me a good starting point.
I would have to say 51-75% -but always someone else's sketch! The other 25% of the time I do other variations of the original sketch. I very rarely come up with my own sketches from scratch - I'd love to be that creative!

26 - 50% of my layouts start with sketches!
51-75% start with a sketch or someone else's finished layout. I work best through being inspired by others.

Definitely 0-25%, but more in the 0-5%. I rarely start with a sketch...just start creating!
I love to use sketches! I'd say my range is 75-100%--more likely close to 75-80%. I'd love to win a copy of this.
