:LAYOUT: Birthday boy...

This layout celebrates my nephew's 5th birthday and is featured on page 80 of the March/April issue of Memory Makers magazine.

This is a great configuration for fitting three full-sized 4x6 photos on one layout.

By swiping the felt letters with black ink, it helped them to coordinate better with the grungy look of these papers by Fancy Pants Designs. The free-handed dots and lines that border the page also add to the grungy, boyish theme.

Supplies:
Cardstock - Prism
Patterned Paper, Rub ons – Fancy Pants
Felt Letter Stickers - Making Memories
Ink – Colorbox
Pen – Zig, American Crafts
Circle Punch - Marvy
Adhesive – Duck

  1. I love the letters!!

    Just out of curiosity...
Do you find it harder to do boy pages than girl pages?

  3. @ Stephanie ~ I only have a daughter, so honestly, I don't get to do as many 'boy' pages as I would like. I had a TON of fun working on this one of my nephew!

  4. @ Jess ~ Thanks for the compliment! When I think about how many layouts I've actually submitted over the years, it's quite staggering, but when one does get picked up every now and then, it's just such a rush!
