@ohcaptain ~ I was pleased with them this year. It seems like I get more and more keepers every year that I shoot the fireworks. It's always a little hit-and-miss with fireworks, but I think one's instincts on timing does improve with practice!
I agree. I've been taking notes about my shots every year. That really seems to help. You don't have the initial phase of "Um, what do I set everything to?"
This was my first year shooting a private (think not huge) fireworks display...more learning :-)

Super shots..I just purchased a digi cam and this is like my first brush with the camera in the real sense..
