WOW! You got some great shots. I gave it a try this year. I am proud of the ones I got. this is the first time I've tried to get pics of fireworks and Really liked it. I'll be doing it every year now. heehee.
These are amazing photos - so clear and crisp on the night sky - Yes - please tell us what camera you used and how close were you to the fireworks! Great job!!

To answer a couple questions: I used my Canon S3 IS and followed the tips in the fireworks article that I posted on 7/1/08. I was quite a ways from the fireworks. I was sitting with my family on a hill overlooking the marina where the fireworks were being shot, so I had to utilize the zoom to it's max for some of these photos.
@monica jo ~ I checked out your blog and some of the fireworks shots you got. Great job! I especially love the sparkler ones.
